Leadership
Our church’s main leadership team, known as the diaconate, currently consists of a pastor, a secretary, a treasurer, and five deacons. The term “deacon” originates from the Bible, meaning “servant,” reflecting their role within the church. Deacons are elected by and from the membership of the church, ensuring a strong connection with the congregation.
The main leadership also recognises Community Church-based leaders who assist in various areas vital to the growth and spread of the Gospel.

Personal Bio
I am an accredited Baptist minister and have had the joy and privilege of leading God’s people, here at Kingsbury Baptist Church since July 2016.
I became a Christian in my late teenage years and was baptised in 1981. My Christian journey since then has had its ups and downs, but God has always been faithful and never let me down. Over the years I have served God in many different roles in the church, but I never imagined that God would call me to be a pastor. It was after I had completed a degree at the London School of Theology, and while I was working as a Pastoral Care Worker, and lay preacher that I received a very clear call to pastoral ministry.
I am supported by my husband, John, who is retired and gets involved in various church activities. Our two children are grown up and face the challenges that all young people do regarding work and housing. We also have a labradoodle and 2 mini lop bunnies to keep us busy!
I love spending time with people in the congregation, getting to know them, walking with them through the joys and challenges of their lives and helping them to grow in their Christian faith. I long to see our church family grow, both in depth of their relationship with the Lord and their desire to serve him and our local community.
I currently (2023) serve as one of three district ministers in the NW district of the London Baptists and have a number of churches and ministers I endeavour to support. I am also part of the Small Church Connexion committee. We arrange retreats and teaching seminars and meet regularly to pray for the small churches in London and offer support where needed.
Although life as a pastor is very busy, I do try to find time (not always very successfully) to enjoy the garden (working and sitting in it), I love watching the variety of birds who nest and use the feeder in the garden. I enjoy cooking, reading, needle work and at Christmas there is always the obligatory jigsaw puzzle!

Personal Bio
I grew up in Kingsbury and started attending Kingsbury Baptist Church from the age of 6 years when I joined the Sunday School and became a member of the 1st Kingsbury Girls Brigade here. It was at Girls’ Brigade camp, when I was in my late teens, that I really believed for myself that Jesus died for and wanted me to follow Him and serve Him for the rest of my life.
I was baptised in 1981 and became a leader in the Girls’ Brigade, giving young girls the opportunity, as I had, to “Seek, Serve and Follow Christ”.
I have been part of the leadership team since 1995 when I was elected a deacon. God has blessed me with the gift of administration and after 36 ½ years in the NHS as an admin team lead, I am now a carer for my mum but still able to use my admin gifts in the role of church secretary. I am also on the rota for leading worship and lead bible study from time to time and love helping others to grow in faith and knowledge of God and sharing how faithful God has been to me and to Kingsbury Baptist over the years.
I enjoy admiring God’s creation when walking, going out to eat and have coffee with friends, reading, doing tapestries and puzzles.

Personal Bio
I have attended Kingsbury Baptist church since we moved into the area about 30 years ago. I have worshipped in a Baptist Church since my teenage years. Although I was born into a Christian family, I first true appreciated that Jesus died for us so that we can be saved. I was about 10 years old at the time. Since then, my faith has grown each year and it has been amazing to see what God has done at every state of my life. I have a lot of testimonies that clearly shows the God is on my case and he is shaping me each day.
A few years after becoming a member of Kingsbury Baptist Church, I started to teach Sunday school initially with children ages 5-11years and overtime I was responsible for much younger children.
I was baptised in the mid 1980’s and have served in the diaconate for a few years taking a sabbatical around 2021 and recently elected to serve again in 2023. I love leading worship and using one of my gifts of hospitality to help prepare and plan for our annual Christmas meals and many church events that we share as a church family which includes the local community.
Our God is an awesome God and his mercies are new every morning, new every day. Whilst I respect other peoples faith, I do not hesitate to pray for anyone that I can sense needs that peace. I know that truly God comes to those situations as I have received feedback that people find peace after I have prayed with them. Our God is good all the time.

Personal Bio
I have attended Kingsbury Baptist Church and served as a deacon for several years. I have experienced the highs and lows of life and through it all, the LORD has always been with me to help me overcome the challenges I faced.
I consider myself privileged, blessed, and gifted in the area of intercession. The LORD has and is using me to support others in prayers as they go through various challenges in their lives. It is such an honour to serve the LORD.
As a longstanding member of Kingsbury Baptist Church over many years, I have actively participated in various and numerous activities promoting and serving the interest of the Gospel, in our local communities.
Due to enduring health related issues, I have had to reduce what I am able to participate in now, while still actively involved in the life of the Kingsbury Baptist Church.
